In the last 50 years, coral reefs have declined by 50%, and their protection is essential as they play an important role in the health of our planet. To protect the fragile marine ecosystem, the U.S. state of Hawaii passed a law effective January 1st, 2021, banning the use of oxybenzone (benzophenone-3) and octinoxate (ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate).
Our formulas no longer contain these filters, and more than 70% of the ingredients are biodegradable.
