- IR3535, the main active ingredient in Newell repellents, is non-toxic to aquatic organisms and rapidly biodegradable.
- Fatty acids of 100% plant origin, fully biodegradable.
- Natural ingredients:
- Citriodiol®, produced from the oil of the Eucalyptus Citriodora tree, sourced from sustainable plantations certified by ECOCERT.
- Oat amino acids
- Organic ingredients:
- Organic Tea Tree Oil, used as a natural lice repellent.
- Organic Java Citronella, a natural ingredient with insect-repellent properties.
We
constantly apply eco-design criteria to minimize the environmental impact
of those factors considered most significant, such as CO2 emissions.
We use vegetable-based inks whenever possible, and our packaging is FSC certified.
The FSC Principles and Criteria describe the essential elements or standards of environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable forest management.
Our
labels are made from recycled PET film with a thickness below the standard (70% less plastic),
manufactured from post-consumer waste, promoting the circular economy and
reducing the carbon footprint by 70% compared to non-recycled materials.
We use bottles made of
100% recyclable PET, 100% recyclable HDPE, or R-PET (100% recycled PET) whenever possible, manufactured from waste materials. R-PET bottles have a slightly different color than standard PET bottles.
57%
By 2014, more than 57% of PET bottles had already been recycled through different processes.
20% of PET bottles are used in bottle-to-bottle recycling.
20%
The recycling process begins in sorting centers, which collect used bottles from various collection systems and sort them into bales delivered to recycling companies.
